Connor Dempsey

Owner / Lead Painter & Decorator

Connor started Dempsey Decorating in 2017, and since then has enjoyed working with both residential and commercial clients to achieve high quality finishes on their projects. Growing the team, Connor has built a team of the highest quality painters and decorators in Fife who treat each job with professionalism, attention to detail, and treat each client and their property with courtesy and respect.

Colin Dempsey

Painter & Decorator / Handyman

Colin has been working closely with Connor, his son, who set up Dempsey Decorating in 2017. Working as a close-knit team, Colin's wide-range of skills - from painting & decorating to all roundedness with joinery, plumbing, tiling and plastering, has helped Dempsey Decorating go from strength to strength. Colin's always committed to getting jobs finished, adding his lively spirit to every project - qualities that clients genuinely appreciate.

Steven (Stevie) Rennie

Steven joined the Dempsey Decorating team in early 2024. Since then, he has made his mark with high-quality finishes across our portfolio of client properties. With a specialism in fine finish painting and decorating, Steven's work has already received praise from clients, making him well-suited to breathe new life into period properties and generally those with intricate details and specific decorating considerations.

Bret Smith

Painter & Decorator

Bret is Dempsey Decorating's latest addition to the team. Joining us in 2024, he has proved himself already by getting stuck into a large former baronial castle project where his specialism in AMES taping, plastering and all-rounded painting and decorating skills have ensured that jobs can be finished to a high standard, on time and exceed client expectations.

Jack Oliver

Work Placement Painter & Decorator

Jack, Stevie's Nephew, has joined the Dempsey Decorating team on a work placement basis until April. Working closely with the Dempsey Decorating team, Jack will be learning about all aspects of painting and decorating best-practice. Whether it's helping with brushing, rollering or helping to prep jobs for the rest of the team, Jack has been a great help so far and has a can-do attitude!
